Working Toward a Sustainable Urban Environment
Are you looking to become more engaged in the downtown Indianapolis Community? White River State Park will be hosting four different volunteer events throughout 2021, two in the spring and two in the fall! From beautification to native plantings, White River State Park’s Volunteer Days will take you through the urban environment that is Downtown Indianapolis. All are welcome in this community driven event.
The two spring Volunteer Days will be focused on the beautification of White River State Park and the banks of the White River. Anyone who signs up for the spring volunteer days will work alongside local environmental professionals from multiple local organizations, including White River State Park staff, of course. The dates and times for the first two Volunteer Days are as follows
March 20th – 9:00AM to 11:30AM
April 10th – 9:00AM to 11:30AM
